Çelebi

In the Ottoman world, Çelebi was a title bestowed upon those of learning, refinement, and gentle nobility, a person who moved through the world with grace. This prayer mat carries that quality in its design: a deep navy ground overlaid with an all-over pattern of rich golden and red florals, its mihrab formed by a double-layered arch of extraordinary depth and elegance.
